Fun's Branding Optimizer

Optimizing here happens by iteration — Loudology, the AI running underneath, reads what you pick and answers in real time, surfacing customization that used to live only on the backend. Bringing that kind of control to the front invites you to be active in shaping your own interaction with the brand, not just a viewer of someone else's fixed decision.

Geist Pixel, Geist Mono, Geist Sans. SIL OFL 1.1 — free on every surface, no licence cost. This page exists to close one open call: the five ELSH stops.

Decision 1 — the register

Two typefaces, two jobs. Geist Pixel speaks as the brand; Helvetica Neue is the brand in disguise on a shelf — diegetic only. Pick one, watch the mark change register.

Decision 2 — contrast

Black mark or white mark. The panel underneath is fixed so either reads true, independent of page theme.

Decision 3 — the palette

One FUN-RED accent per object — the thing that opens, or the wordmark. Never both. The spectrum is refracted light falling on cardboard: never a flat fill, never a gradient background.

Click a swatch — the page background follows it.

Decision 4 — the five element shapes

One variable face, one axis, five containers. The mechanic itself.

These are the font's own named instances, read out of the binary — not guesses. Regular 0 · Square 1 · Circle 20 · Grid 40 · Triangle 60 · Line 80. Two corrections for BRAND_SHEET_01 §Decision 2: the sheet lists the order as Square, Grid, Circle — the font has Circle at 20 and Grid at 40, the other way round. And there is no shape at ELSH 100; past 80 it interpolates back toward Regular.

Decision 5 — the F

Fourteen cells. Every cut orthogonal. No curves, no thin junctures, no tangents to hold. This geometry is the mold — the ice-tray cavity, the pancake pan, the piñata armature, the knurl on the egg, the alphabet-soup die, the tuck tab, the bread tag, the F-clasp rotary die. One geometry, the whole shelf.

The rail

Pixel type is the native language of gamification, which axiom 3 names as fun's nemesis. Forbidden, permanently: score, XP, progress bar, coins, streak, badge, achievement, leaderboard, level-up, chiptune, character sprite, CRT scanline.

The pixel here is a manufacturing grid, not a game screen. Diagnostic: if an asset would look at home inside Fun At Work's software, it is wrong.
